What makes the chisel mortiser CNC aggregate unique?

The hollow chisel aggregate enables precise square holes and sharp corners. The tool set consists of a drill and a fixed chisel, which works outside the drill tool. In the cooperation of the two tools, square holes and sharp-edged corners are made. During the drilling feed, the conically shaped drill is used, while the chisel at the same time precisely forms the corners around the hole. The resulting wood chips are transported inwards to the drill, conveyed upwards through the chip space and ejected.

NEW Technology: Commercially available collets for clamping different tool dimensions

Thanks to the new technology in the ATEMAG hollow chisel aggregate, commercially available collets are now used for tool centering, instead of specially manufactured sleeves as offered in comparable products. This allows the use of globally available collets, which can be obtained directly from any dealer. The use of different tools with different geometries is extremely simple, time-saving and therefore more cost-effective due to the simple exchange of the collets compared to the individually manufactured sleeves.
